How many times have you gone racing with one glow driver, only to discover at the track that your NiCd battery is just about dead? Well, you don't have to wait overnight any more to charge it back up. With Dynamite's Ni-Charge Quick Charger, you can be out on the track in no time at all.
Ni-Charge Quick Charger features a quick charge time of 20 minute for glow drivers, providing it with enough energy to get you going when you're in a jam with a dead glow driver. After charging for 20 minutes at a 1A rate, the Ni-Charge will automatically switch to a trickle charge rate of 50mA for as long as it is connected, allowing you to safely charge the battery to full capacity.
Small and compact, the Ni-Charge fits easily in most pitboxes or can be attached to the side of your field box using the mounting tabs molded right on the side of the case. For power input, the Ni-Charge is supplied with alligator clips, so you can attach it to most 12V power sources with ease.
Operation is very simple with three quick steps. First, connect the Ni-Charge to a 12V-power source, such as the battery in your full-size car. Next, attach a glow driver onto the dummy glow plug recessed inside the Ni-Charge. Then, press the START button. On top you will see a green LED indicating power is being provided to the unit, and a red LED that illuminates during the charge cycle. Once done, the red LED will go out, and you're ready to use your glow driver.
