This locomotive continues Bachmann's tradition of producing the finest state-of-the-art large scale locomotives. The Climax was bilt from 1888 to 1928 by the Climax Manufacturing Cormpany of Corry, PA. By 1893, the company offered two models, the Class A-type and the Class B-type. The Class B-type quickly became Climax's most popular model and was offered in sizes from 17 to 35 tons. Bachmann is pleased to offer the 25 ton version of this reknown locomotive.
