BAC25013 BACHMANN ON30 Ohio River & Western Passenger Set

Incorporated in 1875, the tenacious Ohio River & Western Railway played a crucial role in the development of the southeast Ohio hill country it served. The narrow gauge OR & W survived for half a century through times of bust and boom, but its larger, standard gauge competitors proved to be too powerful for the railroad. The Pennsylvania Railroad purchased the OR & W in 1912, and its last train ran on Memorial Day, May 30, 1931. Our Ohio River & Western set includes a 2-6-0 steam locomotive with operating headlight, coal tender, three lighted passenger cars, 56" x 38" oval of nickel silver E-Z Track with 12 pieces of curved track, 3 pieces of straight track, and 1 plug-in terminal rerailer, E-Z Mate couplers on all cars, power pack, and helpful DVD format video with assembly instructions.
